Frequently Asked Questions
What type of heat does this sauna use?
The Thermora Vexa uses far-infrared heat generated by six carbon heating panels. Far-infrared heat warms the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air first, which allows the cabin to reach comfortable temperatures relatively quickly.
Can this sauna be left outside year-round?
The Vexa is built from old fir with a fully waterproof exterior, making it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in most climates. We recommend covering or protecting the unit during extended periods of non-use in harsh weather conditions.
How hot does the sauna get?
The six carbon heating panels can bring the cabin to a maximum temperature of 149°F (65°C). Temperature is adjustable via the touch control panel.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Delivery to most US addresses takes 5–10 business days. Shipping is free within the contiguous United States.
Does the Bluetooth system require an internet connection?
No. The built-in Bluetooth speakers connect directly to your phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device without requiring a Wi-Fi or internet connection.
Is professional installation required?
The sauna ships with all hardware and an assembly manual. Most customers complete assembly without professional help. If your outdoor electrical setup requires new wiring or a dedicated circuit, a licensed electrician should handle that portion of the installation.
The Thermora Vexa is a practical, well-equipped 2-person outdoor infrared sauna at a competitive price. If you are looking for a weather-resistant backyard sauna with integrated audio and lighting, this unit ships free and arrives ready to assemble.
